Terms of Service

Welcome to MyHSAHub. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MyHSAHub website and application (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

MyHSAHub is a web-based platform that helps you store, organize, and track medical receipts for Health Savings Account (HSA) reimbursement purposes.

Important: MyHSAHub is a personal recordkeeping tool. It does not process financial transactions, submit insurance claims, or interact with your HSA provider or financial institution on your behalf.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Account Registration & Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

4. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you upload to MyHSAHub, including receipt images, documents, and any data you enter (“Your Content”). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Upload content that is fraudulent, misleading, or infringes on the rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or our systems
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Service
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Introduce malware, viruses, or any other harmful code
  • Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account

6. Automated Document Processing

No guarantee of accuracy: Automated extraction may produce errors or incomplete results. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all extracted data before relying on it for any purpose, including tax filings, reimbursement claims, or audit responses.

7. Disclaimers

7.1 No Medical Advice

MyHSAHub does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The Service is a recordkeeping tool and does not create any physician-patient or provider relationship.

7.2 No Tax or Financial Advice

MyHSAHub does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice. Receipt tracking and categorization features are for organizational purposes only. Consult a qualified tax professional for guidance.

7.3 Not a HIPAA-Covered Entity

MyHSAHub is not a covered entity or business associate under HIPAA. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we protect your information.

7.4 Service Provided “As Is”

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyHSAHub and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, missed tax deadlines, or missed reimbursement opportunities.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MyHSAHub and its owners, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or related to your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

10. Data & Backups

MyHSAHub is not a backup service. You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of original receipts and important documents. We recommend using the export features within the Service to regularly download copies of your data.

11. Account Termination

11.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if required by law.

12. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by MyHSAHub and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

13. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
